At Tylersville Road Christian Church (TRCC) you will find… many types of families, singles, babies, toddlers, tweens, teens, empty nesters and seniors. We come together wearing jeans, suits and everything in-between. We have life-long church members and those just beginning their church experience. We welcome all and judge none. It’s a place of love, connected in service to each other, our community and the world.

9:00 am – Awakenings (food, coffee and fellowship)
9:15 am – Sunday school and Small Groups for children (3 yr. old-Gr 6), youth (Gr 7-12) and adults \
10:30 am – Worship with Communion.

• A professionally staffed nursery is available every Sunday 9 am to noon (infants to 3 yr. olds)

• Junior Church program (3 yr. olds to 3rd Grade)
• Hearing assisted devices and sheet music provided.
• Prayers with Elders or part of congregation

What Should I Expect During Service?

When you come through the doors of our church, you will be GREETED by at least one of our members and handed a program for the service. In the program is the service outline, the scripture for the day, events and prayer concerns.

You may sit wherever you are comfortable. We offer Awakenings – coffee, hot chocolate and brunch snacks which are provided at the side of the sanctuary. Please help yourself.

The service will begin with a SONG and ANNOUNCEMENTS. All are displayed on big screens for easy reading. Song sheets, nametags and hearing assisted devices are available at the Welcome Center.

We will welcome each other with the EXCHANGE OF PEACE. During this time additional prayer concerns or joys can be written on a card and placed in our prayer box at the front of the sanctuary or shared with an elder during Communion. Pastor Troy then leads PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE where we lift each other up through prayer.

A CHILDREN’S MOMENT will follow our SCRIPTURE reading. Scripture is displayed on our big screens and there are Bibles available at our Welcome Center. Pastor Troy’s MESSAGE examines our scripture readings as it relates to our present lives while reflecting on the historical context.

For Children’s Moment: Parents and children 6 yrs. old and under are invited to come to the front of the sanctuary. Following the children's moment children 3 years old to the third grade may go with Jr. Church leaders for the remainder of the service.

During the INVITATION TO FAITH you can choose to come forward to renew your faith, transfer your membership and join our church family.

If you feel led we invite you to participate in OPEN COMMUNION. At this time prayers can be shared with elders who are stationed around the congregation. On the third Sunday of the month, prayers for Healing and Anointing are offered.

Our service concludes joyfully in songs and BLESSINGS.
